Position Overview:

• Creative, enthusiastic and positive attitude with great customer service

• Sales and/or business development experience

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to strategize, implement and complete projects

• Self-motivated, deadline driven and detail orientated

• Comfortable working in a team environment with minimal supervision

• Reliable vehicle (optional)

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company in a professional manner

• Territorial outside sales to local retail businesses

• Maintain sales quota and budgeted increases

• Create and assist clients with concept and design of ad campaigns

• Implement and present advertising opportunities to potential clients

• Increase existing client buys and introduce new ad programs

• Complete assigned projects in a timely and efficient manner

• Keep up to date and report advertising trends and opportunities within your territory

• Maintain and grow current database of your territory clients, leads and prospects

Qualifications

 Required Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of strategic event Marketing of Events, activation, policies, practices and principles
• Strong experience and knowledge of communications, public relations, Marketing and Events, sponsorship and contract execution

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of personality types 
• Creative flair with an ability to entertain and create branded experiences

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

• A university degree in a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience is a plus

Required Experience:

• Hands on experience in event activation is required
